Question for Americans: do you ever get overwhelmed by the idea of international travel?

I’m an Aussie and I got chatting to a workmate today about holidays and realised I’ve been to 50 countries and it didn’t seem like a big deal. I’ve talked to other Americans who get really overwhelmed by international travel and many have only been to one or two countries. <br><br>I grew up in a low income household but my mum always made travel a priority. I think because she was from a European background and saw travel as important. Also, English is so widely spoken outside of English speaking countries that it’s really easy to travel. <br><br>I’d love to hear your thoughts.
