It seems as if most if not all of philosophy is really applicable in real-world, but is often dismissed because of the stereotype that philosophy is useless.
For instance, ethics involves a lot of thinking about how we ought to run society. Metaphysics generally explores the nature of reality and provides interpretations of phenomena.
But this sort of knowledge does not sound useless, yet most of the world tends to view philosophy as useless.
What are your thoughts on that?
