What does a trip feel like? No real answers in the FAQ

I've been wondering for a while and haven't found any real answer. I've never tripped and don't know much about what it's actually like.<br><br>I've read about what a trip is, what happens, how long it lasts, and so on, but that doesn't really tell me what it feels like.<br><br>For example, what do the visuals look like? I've heard that it's not like what you see in IT but I'm not quite sure what to expect.<br><br>Also, what does the psychedelic sound feel like? I've heard that you can hear weird sounds and voices and such? How? Why? How much of it is real? Does it sound like something is near you when it isn't, or does it sound like you're somewhere else?<br><br>Ultimately, I'd also like to know how the visuals translate to voices and how they change depending on how deep you are in the trip.
