Is having a kid with an otherwise healthy normal woman who has bipolar disorder a terrible idea?

I was online trying to find out the answers to this question. I found one study but it was only about 400 participants and was a small study and not conclusive.<br><br>I ask because I’m not sure in attempting a relationship with a woman who I’ve been seeing the past year who has bipolar disorder. I have been warned a thousand times by other doctors I know to not say screw it and try to have a kid with her. I’m under a ton of pressure from family and other’s to not pursue having a relationship with her anymore. I like her a lot though and she wants to have kids. I don’t know what to do.
