Why are people so happy that Taylor Swift is suing Kanye West for sexual assault but not when women actually experienced it?

So i am not american and i watch the news, but the title is pretty much what i understood what is going on.

I didn’t follow Taylor's news closely, but to my understanding, she was sexually assaulted by Kanye West. Then she is suing him now. So, good? I guess?

But then i go on Twitter an people are like "oh Kanye assualted Taylor" and "Taylor Swift was assaulted by Kanye West!" and then people are like "fuck, poor Taylor... i didn’t know that! But good job to Taylor that she is suing him now though!" And then i am there and wondering... wait? If you didn’t know about the story, then how did you never hear about Kanye sexual assaulting other women? I don’t know if you are just white and privileged and didn’t notice, but Kanye did it to a lot of people before, so how did you never hear about it?

So then i thought, "well, they are just facts. The facts are that you didn't hear before but now you did. What are you gonna do about it?"

Then i went on Chambers and people are just so excited that Taylor is suing him. Like yeah, she deserve justice and all. But have you ever heard about all the other women that he harassed or raped? Why do you never talk about it before? Just because it was an white upper class celebrity woman?

I am so sick of people only care when a white woman is attacked, but if it's a colored woman, then it a nothing story.
