How do you use meal prep?

I was getting this feeling when I make meals, I don't necessarily meal prep to save time on cooking everyday, but to save time on grocery shopping and cleaning up? Plus eating healthier food and being less lazy about getting food

I only prep some of the ingredients, all of my meals aren't entirely prepped. I only really prep meats and grains (rice, pasta, etc). I put them into containers and then cook as I go. I feel like it's been really helpful this way to not spend too much money on groceries, but also not getting bored from too much prep.

Plus when you cook the veggies/smaller ingredients individually, you don't get that soggy steamy meal that's gross to eat from cooked ingredients sitting around for a while.

Like I don't really think the whole "make all your food for the week in one night" way is the most helpful for everyone. It's honestly really easy to just start with some prep, you don't need to do it all to get started.
