If you look at the history of the United States, you'll find most of it is remarkably similar to China's history before the CCP took over. If you support communism, you should do your fucking research before supporting it.

I think the "fuck capitalism" sentiment is a bit strong, since capitalism is a very good system under good conditions, but the conditions in the US are pretty much all opposite of what makes a capitalist system good. Capitalism can become very volatile under certain conditions, and the US has all of them. Having a small portion of people hold all the wealth is not good. Having a small portion of wealthy people hold a lot of power is not a good idea, because they will always act to increase their own wealth, and in a capitalist system, money can equate to power.

If you're not familiar with Chinese history, you might not be aware that China was once a chaotic mess much like America is today, with many people in famine, very few people with good education, a massive class divide, and massive regional disparities in wealth. China was plagued with internal strife and was taken advantage of by other countries which ultimately led to China becoming a semi-colonial nation, and being invaded by Japan. The Communist Party came to power, and began a massive overhaul of China's systems, and now China is one of the most powerful countries on Earth, and has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. The standard of living and overall quality of life and life expectancy has skyrocketed for Chinese citizens. China is a great example of how an authoritarian government can lift a nation out of poverty and despair.

So, if you support communism, you are supporting the concept of a single party state, and you should absolutely research the history of China before supporting that. Covid-19 has exposed massive flaws in democracy and the way democratic nations react to emergencies. Imagine if the US responded to Covid-19 like China did. If the US had locked down cities immediately when the virus started spreading, and started a nationwide lockdown, we might be back to normal right now. Oh, and China has government run healthcare, which has also done a lot to stop the spread of Covid-19, and cure people. All Americans should have access to adequate healthcare, no matter what.

If you support communism today, you will be voting out politicians who oppose communism, and voting in politicians who support it. If you support any of the presidential candidates running now, you don't really support communism. I guess this post serves as a kind of warning to Americans who are secretly communists. China is a great example of how a single party state can benefit a nation and lift people out of poverty, but it will not be fun for Americans who presently oppose communism. The elites and wealthy should be very concerned if communists are elected. I guess we'll see.

Edit: If you're not from the US, please don't post here.

Edit 2: I know I'm like an echo chamber here, chambers is biased towards the left and most people here are opposed to the concept of authoritarianism in general, but if you are for a single party state, you should research the concept and how it operates. I really can't emphasize enough that the US is doing a lot of things wrong. If the US had a single party state right now, it would probably make this problem a lot easier to deal with. I guess we'll see.

Edit 3: I don't understand how this post got so much attention. I just wrote it to get something off my chest. I'm not trying to say any system is inherently bad or good, I'm just trying to say the US should research the concept of a single party state, and how China is using it to benefit its people. I guess we'll see.
