Pretty sure my girlfriend is getting too big for her own good...

My girlfriend and I have been together about 4 years and she's maybe 350 lbs. She's a little short at about 5' 1", but has always had a bigger build.

She's never really been much into working out, but I've learned to accept that. I love her overall appearance, and she used to be very active with me when we first met. She was a gamers girl, we played a lot of video games together and it was great.

Lately though, she's been gaining a lot more weight and not really doing many things anymore. I've definitely noticed her mobility issues getting worse and worse. She still works a desk job, but usually passes out on the couch shortly after coming home from work and doesn't want to move until the next morning.

The other day she had a work meeting she had to attend and when she came to the door, she lost her balance and fell. She just could not get up and I had to have someone come and help lift her up. She's now on one of those scooters to move around the house. I'm really beginning to worry about her long-term health...

I know I shouldn't want her to lose weight, but I just want her to be healthier and happier. But she always complains that people like me make her feel bad about her appearance when all I want to do is be with her and help her.

I'm not sure how to approach her about this. I do not want to sound judgmental or like I'm attacking her. But the overall situation is becoming a burden and I don't know how much longer I can deal with this.

How do I approach this subject without sounding like a fat shamer?
