What is wrong with people these days?

There are so many ignorant, awful, selfish people in this world. I am so disgusted with the majority of humans. I am currently reading articles about how kids have been taking their own lives due to bullying, depression, and anxiety. I watched a video of a man waving a gun at a group of kids, while screaming at them. It’s scary to think about all the people in the world who are uneducated, lazy, abusive, and violent. I feel like the world is getting worse and I can’t imagine growing up in this world as a kid.
