I said I was sorry. I made a mistake and I've been sorry for a week. He's still angry at me but he's ok with that.

It's OK to be angry and upset that people screw up, but not so OK to punish people, even though you know you're punishing them, and their mistake isn't that bad. It's OK to let go of some things, and be more understanding of people who are trying.
