My dad drowned right next to me in the ocean, and his dead body disappeared in the ocean.

My sister was at the beach with my dad and me, and we went swimming together. There was a strong current pulling us out to sea, so my dad and sister swam back to shore, while I swam to a jetty to try to get out of the current. I was a strong swimmer, so I was pretty comfortable, compared to my dad and sister, who weren't as good swimmers. As I got about 10 feet from the end of the jetty, I heard my dad yell for help. I swam out to him where he was barely staying above water and grabbed him to keep his head above the water. I was a strong 17 year old, but my dad was a big guy, and I couldn't keep him above water for long. We were helping each other stay above water, when I heard my sister yell for help. I told my dad to grab the flotation device she was using, so that it could keep him above water, and I could help my sister. But he wouldn't let go of me and kept saying he was going to die, and that it was his fault for getting us out in the ocean as the current was pulling us out to sea. I finally got him to let go of me, and as I let him grab onto the flotation device, I swam to my sister. But by the time I got there, she was dead. I held her head above the water, and she was blue but not cold yet, so I was really hoping she would live. I pulled her to shore, and ran along the beach to try to find help. I found one guy who said he knew CPR, so I took him back to my sister and had him try to revive her. I ran back along the beach to find help again, but couldn't find anyone. I ran back to where my sister was, and she had been moved up to the sand, and the guy was trying to revive her. As I was talking to him, a woman came over and said she was a flight surgeon, and that she knew a lot about CPR. I moved out of the way so she could try to revive my sister. I walked out to the water, and swam back to where I had last seen my dad, but he was gone. I swam around where he was, and yelled for him, but he didn't answer. I swam back to the beach and told the flight surgeon that my dad was missing. She said she would call the coast guard for help. After she made the call, she came back to me and said she was sorry, that the coast guard wouldn't be able to get there for another 45 minutes, but they would look for my dad along the coast and out to sea. I thought that was a lot of help, but I decided I'd rather sit in the water and try to find him myself, and since I was already about 50 feet out, I swam further out until I was about a mile out to sea. I swam in all directions, and yelled for my dad, but he never answered. After about 45 minutes, I gave up, and swam back to the beach, where I found some coast guards looking for my sister's body, as they had taken her on a plane to the hospital, and they were certain she had died. But then I saw her walking towards me along the beach. I got a little excited, but as she got closer, I realized something was wrong. She was acting kind off, and wouldn't look at me, or answer me. As she got to me, she looked straight through me, and I saw she was blind. She was still blue, but she seemed to be moving around like normal. I was still a little stunned by seeing her, so I just stood there as she walked past me. Like 10 minutes later, I saw her walking in the other direction, and I realized she had no idea how to find her way back to me, so I ran after her and grabbed her arms to try to get her attention. But she jerked her arms away, and backed away from me. So I thought maybe she was mad at me, but really she just couldn't see me. I ran in front of her and tried to get her to look at me. When she wouldn't look at me, I remembered that I had heard of people who were blind, and couldn't see, still knowing where people were by their voice, so I started talking to her. If I had been like most people and thought she had come back to life, I probably would have been so joyous at seeing her alive again, that I wouldn't have thought about all that, but the fact that she was blind, made me realize she was dead and somehow back in her body, as if it was a puppet. I had studied a lot of different religions, and had read about the Tibetan and Egyptian books of the dead, which talk about people getting a second chance at life if they can make it past some tests, so I knew that she needed help navigating the spiritual world to try to get a second chance at life, so I told her to follow the sound of my voice. She didn't seem to understand or register what I was saying. So I tried again, and said, "Sis, please follow the sound of my voice, or you might not be able to get another chance at life." So she started following me, and I led her to the spot along the coast where she had died. As we got there, I could see her becoming more aware of her surroundings, and her looking around. I told her to look around and see if she recognized anything. She said she did, she said she remembered coming to the beach with me and my dad. So I told her to try to remember what happened, and she looked really confused, and then she started to cry. I asked her what was wrong, and she said she couldn't remember what happened to my dad, and that she was worried about him. So I told her I think dad died when the current pulled us out to sea. She didn't seem to remember anything about dying, and I didn't want to tell her that she was dead and her body was dead too, so I just said we should try to find dad. I walked along the coast trying to remember where we were in the water when my dad went missing. I was pretty sure of the spot, and pointed out to sea and said, "I think he went missing right out there." My sister looked out to sea, like she was trying to see or remember something, and then she said, "I see him, he's swimming out to sea." I looked out where she was looking, but I couldn't see anything. I asked her which way he was going, so I could swim after him, and she pointed out to sea. So I swam out to sea as fast as I could. As I swam out to sea, I could see the water getting deeper, and I didn't think I was going to be able to find him. But after I had been swimming for something like 45 minutes, I thought I saw something floating on the surface of the water. When I got closer, I realized it was my dad's dead body. I was really happy to have found him, and I held him up so his head was above water. He was blue and cold, and I could tell he was dead. He didn't move at all. I kept holding him above water, and supporting his dead body, for probably about 8 hours, until a coast guard helicopter finally spotted me, and sent a boat to me. I couldn't believe they had finally shown up, but they didn't find my sister they only found me holding my dad.
