Apple is expanding end-to-end encryption for some iCloud data, including backups and notes, globally.<br><br>The new features enhancing iCloud protection were described in the company’s announcement as part of an effort to safeguard user data. <br><br>For years, experts have called on tech firms to let people lock their iCloud backups and other data by an encryption key that only they have access to, known as end-to-end encryption. <br><br>Apple said the features will be rolled out to users in the United States by the end of the year and then worldwide in 2024.
