Saw a comment in a post in a normie chamber about a catgirl anime and someone in the comments said that "at least anime catgirls are not real so no one is gonna be gonna be into them in real life and harm anyone". It's funny to see most normies have no idea that there are tons of furries and otherkin that are so socially awkward to the point they want to be an animal or a fantasy creature in real life.
