So I'm a RN and I'm in an EM program. I have some issues with organization and management and so ChatGPT has been a huge help in organizing my shift and helping me do tasks. It also helps me with my knowledgeable and studying. I keep getting complaints and the last one was that I let ChatGPT start a report for a patient I was caring for and the senior nurse immediately got upset and told me that I was breaking privacy of my patients.

I had no idea how I was doing this, I have no clue how to report anyone, and I don't know if it's against HIPAA and I don't even know how to make a complaint about it to my instructor.

I'm just getting so many complaints at work and people seem so against ChatGPT because they don't understand it or they think it's a new thing when it's been around for over a decade.

Can we make a list of resources so RNs and other students of healthcare can use this as a resource when people complain?
