App idea for the sleep disorder called “Exploding head syndrome”

Exploding head syndrome is a condition in which a person hears a loud noise or explosive sound in their head while falling asleep or waking up. The noise can be frightening and disruptive but is relatively harmless. About one-third of people with exploding head syndrome experience visual hallucinations as well, such as seeing a bright light or feeling a physical sensation. <br><br>Now for the app idea. <br><br>This app determines the individuals sleep pattern and acquires data on when the individual is most likely to hear these noises. Once it believes that the individual is in that sweet spot; it plays white noise to mask the noise and hopefully block out the hallucinations. <br><br>Additionally, the algorithm could aggregate data from other users who have similar sleep patterns and apply their methods to the users who have similar issues.
