What if we just... didn't?

I've been having an existential crisis lately. School and teaching and the calendar and the curriculum and the standards and the state tests... just, what if we just... didn't?<br><br>What if we didn't do any of that? What if we just let kids explore and learn what they want to learn, and we just helped them along the way?<br><br>Why can't we do that? Why can't we just... not do any of this?<br><br>I feel like I'm going crazy.
