Just a reminder: Thanksgiving is not a "widespread" holiday.

I'm getting really tired of seeing "it's thanksgiving in the US, therefore no one is going to answer your messages / phone calls / emails".

Thanksgiving **is not** a federal holiday in the United States, it is a federal observance. All federal offices are closed, but private employers are not legally required to give you the day off. As a result, plenty of US residents will be working Thursday and Friday just like any other day of the year.

The fact that it's a holiday in the US does not automatically mean that a company or government is closed or short-staffed.
