How can a boyfriend embarrass you in front of his parents?

I’m not sure if it’s sexist but I can easily imagine a boyfriend embarrassing me in front of my family but not the other way around. <br>It doesn’t even have to be purposeful I can imagine making a joke about him that he didn’t like or something like that.
