Most non-alcoholic alternatives to beer are basically just Bud light without the alcohol and are nothing like a really good beer, non-alcoholic or otherwise

The only thing I can think is that the larger beer companies (Budweiser, Coors, Heineken, etc.) that are putting out non-alcoholic versions of their beers haven’t really done any research to see what craft beers are like.
I’m not saying that all craft beers are better than all bigger company beers, but it seems like non-alcoholic beers from bigger companies compared to what craft companies are putting out is drastic.
I am not a drinker at all but my fiancé is. She drinks IPAs and really enjoys them so when she got pregnant, I started trying all of the non-alcoholic IPAs I could find.
These bigger companies claiming that their non-alcoholic beer tastes just like their regular beer makes me wonder if they ever actually taste their regular beer because compared to some of the non-alcoholic beers, you could be drinking grape juice or milk.
I’ve tried so many non-alcoholic beers lately and I think that only once or twice did I think the non-alcoholic was inferior to the regular beer and that was by a little.
These bigger companies claim that you can’t make good beer without alcohol but it seems like they just don’t know how or they’re just not trying.
I’ve had plenty of non-alcoholic stouts and porters that are so thick and creamy that you don’t realize there’s no alcohol until you’re able to drink your third without having to wait 30 minutes.
I know it seems ridiculous that someone that doesn’t drink is complaining about beer but I don’t understand where these bigger companies are coming from.
They’re fully aware that craft beer is a big deal and that there is a massive difference between a Yuengling and a bud light. So why don’t they send someone to some of these small breweries and ask them to make a non-alcoholic beer and see what they think.

Edit:

Wow! This got a lot more attention than I was expecting.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations! There are definitely some that I hadn’t heard of. I’ll look into them.

And thank you for the awards. I feel like I got swarmed with them. I didn’t know there were so many.

And lastly, for those of you that got smart with me or were generally shitty. I hope that when you have a child, you will step outside of your small little world and realize that other people don’t have your life experiences and maybe you should actually talk to people instead of hoping that you’ve had all life experiences and you know better than everyone else.
Grow up.
