What is the most comforting dish coming from your culture?

For me it is the traditional Dutch dish called "Erwtensoep", which is a split pea soup mixed with pieces of bacon and sausage. Extremely filling and cheap, and often served together with rye break.<br><br>What is your go-to comfort food, and where is that from?
