How do I make friends in the workplace?

I have been at my workplace for almost a year now. I am very lonely, nobody at work is friends with me. My manager doesn’t like me, I’m like a robot to my manager, a lifeless object. I’m sad to be at work and I don’t know how to make friends at work. <br><br>I try to be kind and ask for help, but no one thinks we are friends, they just see me as a co worker. I’m so sad I wish I could make friends but I don’t know how.
