10 year anniversary of the Brexit vote: what have we learned?

I'm assuming that Britain will be worse off. Everyone's worse off already in a lot of ways due to the economic crisis. Still, what's the overall consensus on this: will Brexit be a clear-cut failure, or are there any potential gains or redeeming features of this decision?
