A lot of the television shows using fully adult actors in a high school setting could easily change their plot to revolve around a college setting instead of the weird fixation television has on displaying the sex lives of high schoolers

I think a lot of television shows use the high school setting just to be able to have a young cast and appeal to a younger audience but a lot of the time the stories they tell would make way more sense in a college setting.<br><br>To clarify more specifically I'm talking about shows aimed at a more adult audience with more mature themes. <br><br>For example I think riverdale and wednesday would benefit from making the characters slightly older, they're already played by older actors but just don't change anything else about their characters or storylines.<br><br>I think many television shows just have a fixation on high schoolers for the sake of having younger characters and younger viewers.
