The Twisted Minds of the White House

This is my first post that I am using to submit a part of a story I am writing for my creative writing class. I am new to writing, and I would love some feedback as well as any suggestions or tips you you all may have.

In my mind I wonder if anyone would actually understand the twisted minds we all have in the White House. The mind of a politician is not one for the weak hearted. I once saw a documentary back in college about how they did psychological analyses over politicians minds. They compared them to serial killers, those of psychopaths, and many others. I remember thinking NOTHING could be farther from the truth. But it has been ten years since I graduated with my law degree, and worked my way up to the highest job in the nation. And I couldn’t agree more.

But I am not here to talk about me. I am here to talk about the man I was in love with.

This story isn’t about love, lust, or heartbreak. But it’s about the not so picture perfect world of politicians. It is base on a lot of true events, but fictionalized.

President Benny Alexander. 46, married to his college sweetheart, and with two boys. He was the epitome of perfection. Charming, charismatic, smart, and good to his people. He was the type of man that you wanted to bring home to mom. But the mind of Benny was just as twisted as mine. Put us together and you could destroy worlds.

As his White House Counsel, and advisor it was my job to protect him from scandals, and the public. Little did anyone know he was the one you needed protection from. Since day one we both knew I was the only one who could handle him.

©️ Luna Rose. 2023 all rights reserved
