What is happening to gay people???

I did not watch any of the videos just saw them all over the front page and they are all on my recommendations; I didn’t really understand them so I thought they were just dumb and decided to search it up. I searched and it turns out its a thing gay people do where they try to take advantage of people by virtue signalling and did not expect this. I usually use the gay term loosely and am not actually gay.
