Staying away from women has genuinely made my life better.

I’ve tried being friends with different women over the past 5 years, I’ve had barely any success with it. Most were judgmental, some got too close. They really didn’t seem to care about me any more than I would care about them. I had a few female friends at the beginning of high school, and I actually thought we were genuine friends. I was very naive. <br><br>I’m questioning whether guys and gals can actually form a platonic relationship. Honestly I’m not sure how I’d feel if I was a girl. I’m leaning towards the assumption that the majority of girls who say they can be platonic friends of guys are lying and just feeling sorry for the guy.
