I meal prep a lot. Most of my weekly meals are in containers in the fridge. I don't however put them in six little tubs with six carbs and six proteins in each one and take selfies of myself eating them in the gym.

I come to this chamber for ideas. I love looking at the food here and stealing recipes for new things to eat. It's a great resource for people who wish to indulge in meal prep, but not the true meal prep people that I see on Tiktok and Instagram.

**I love this sub**.

**You guys are the best**.

**Thank you for making food that looks so good**.

**I don't have 5,000 calories a day to eat 90 portions a week of chicken and sweet potatoes.**

I'm not a body builder. I'm not a gymnast for some random town in the Midwest. I'm not trying to be an influencer.

I'm just a guy who likes to eat food that's good, nutritious, and varied. I like coming up with new recipes. I like having a stocked fridge and freezer of food that I can mix-and-match to maintain a balanced diet. I like that I can eat an extra meal one day if I feel like it, and save a meal for the next day when I'm not hungry. I like that when I get home from work, I can have dinner ready in less than 30 minutes, and that dinner is something I want to eat.

This sub has been a great resource for me to maintain a balanced diet that *I like* and I appreciate everyone who contributes with recipes and pictures and whatnot.

And of course, if you happen to have a six-pack, you're doing something right. I just don't happen to be one of those people.

Edit: Wow, this blew up. Thank you for the awards and the kind comments. I'm not into body-building. I'm not really into weight lifting. I'm a 46 year old guy with two kids who works 40 hours a week. I like to eat, I love food, I love cooking, and I love this subreddit.

And thank you all for making this place what it is. It's great.
