How do you (or do you) include "talking time" in your classes? If you have ideas, comment below

I am a SLP who has just been moved to special education, although I have several years of experience in special ed. I have been told that my students need more active social interaction to help them develop social communication skills. I feel like I'm flying on a wing and a prayer. I certainly want to incorporate the strategies I've learned in speech pathology, although I want to continue to support the students' communication skills. So, how do you include "talking time" in your classes? If you have any ideas or suggestions, please comment below. I would really appreciate it.

PS: I have a pretty intensive caseload of students with one-to-one paras.
