This is an experience that happened in 2015. I was walking south down a street, it was evening probably 5pm and was walking down a street that was lined with shops/business and I noticed a guy walking towards me, side on as there was a narrow cycle path separating us. A few seconds before the guy reached me a nearby shop door swings open, and the lady opens the door and a kid (boy) of maybe 6/7 years runs out the door like he is distressed about something. The shopkeeper and kid collide, so the shopkeeper and her son almost fall over the barrier in front of me. The kid almost collides with the guy who was walking towards me, with a bicycle helmet on his head.

That was it, the scene finished and the shopkeeper and kid went back inside, the guy walked on and literally, nothing happened. I didn't even see them collide, that was it.

If this was a scene from a movie, there would have been consequences, like the kid collides with the guy, the guy falls over and smacks his head, the kid falls and knocks his head on the railing and has to be rushed to hospital, or the guy is carrying some important documents and they get scattered across the road and lots of them get run over. But none of that was filmed, just a shot of the door opening and the shopkeeper and kid running out of it, nothing more.
