I think I made GHB last night

I used gbl for the first time about a year ago. I had no idea that it was a GHB prodrug, and ended up on the floor of a 7-11, not knowing how I got there, freezing and shivering, and this was from what I thought was a small dose. I didn’t touch it again for the next year, until I planned on taking it.

I still am a total noob though, and the only time I had it was when I didn’t know what I had.

I mixed some gbl with water last night, and after months left in the fridge, I didn’t think it would be a problem. When I first poured it into a new water bottle, it separated into a watery liquid and what looked like gbl. But then it appeared to dissolve. It didn’t dissolve. I drank it anyway.

I didn’t think there would be a problem, since I thought the ratio was 1:1 gbl:ghb. I read that thc is converted to a stronger version of it-self when decarbed, but I didn’t think would be the case here, even though I read it would be converted to ghb.

Well as it turns out, when alcohol is added to sodium or potassium gbl, it will completely convert to ghb, and will separate from the water. Clearly, I didn’t know that or else I wouldn’t have drank it.

I ended up drinking 2-3g which, according to my internet sources, is 2-3 times the recommended dose. I had no idea. So I drank it. And when I drank it, I didn’t feel anything, and ended up going to sleep. I woke up to the sound of my dogs fighting, as usual, and everything was fine until I stood up. The room started to spin, and I felt extremely lightheaded. The room started to spin, and at first, I thought it was a panic attack, and I sat back down in bed. I can’t describe this properly, but the closest thing I can relate it to is an intense vertigo spell I had years ago. But it felt like I was on a spinning chair and someone was spinning me left and right at massive force. It was extremely intense and made me sick. I ended up in the bathroom, throwing up, and I could barely stand up. I had double vision, and I felt extremely drowsy, and my response time was slowed down.

This was all very intense, I don’t think I can describe it properly. But eventually, I was able to walk around, although I was still dizzy, extremely drowsy, and had double vision. This lasted for about 8 hours, and I had to call in sick to work, because I would not have made it.

I’m still trying to get over the drowsiness as we speak, and I’m still extremely dizzy.

While this was fun and all, I think I’m going to stick to xanax for now.
