25f got rejected by a guy and was called a loser. I'm feeling genuinely in despair.

I (25f) recently asked a guy I fancied from my job to go out with me as I heard he was a great guy with a good personality outside of work. Unfortunately he was not interested and told me that there's a lack of chemistry. I was very disappointed, but I coped well.<br><br>Today I learned he was telling our colleagues that I don't have a chance with anyone and that I was a loser which hurt me a lot. I took it very badly, don't know why.<br><br>What can I do to feel better.
