Studying is all well and good, but there is an important factor to consider when studying: study what you want to know and study what you don't know. When you find yourself with 10 questions to study and you could answer 2 of those easily, but the other 8 you find very hard, then choose how you want to allocate your time between all those questions wisely. Spend enough time on each question, to make sure you feel you can answer them, but don't spend too much time on question 1, 3 and 5.

If you had the chance to spend all day and night practising and you are 100% sure that you need to learn some piece of information, then by all means do it. However, it is most often not the case that you are 100% sure that you need to learn something. You are most often only 50-70% sure. Instead of spending all the time in the world learning something you are only 50-70% sure you need to learn, to spend time learning other things you are more sure will come up.
