What moves you?

I spent yesterday thinking about a hero from my favorite book, and I though it was interesting, so I want to see what you think.

The majority of heroes moves with the idea of **"I must save him/her/them"** or **"I won't let you harm him/her/them"**.

Some of them want to be a hero because they believe it's a moral duty, some of them want to protect a loved one or a group of loved ones.

The one in the book, however, moves with another idea: **"I will change this world"**. She has no dear person to protect, she's not doing it for her own sake or to gain something.

She wants to change the world, but she's not a messiah kind of hero, or a revolutionary one. Her method is to make a change one person at the time, to make them see the world as it is and to see what's wrong with it.

She doesn't really know why she is doing this, or what is the "right" way to make the world a better place. She just knows that it's not as it should be.

What do you think moves a hero? What does move you?

P.S. I apologize for any mistakes I've done, English is not my first language, I hope I didn't mess too much with the grammar.
