I (M25) moved into a haunted house and the ghost (F20?) seems to have developed feelings for me

I have lived in this house since mid 2020, when I got a job as a district manager for a major fast food chain. Up until then, I was working at a different fast food chain, and was just a manager at one of our locations. The district I now manage contains my previous restaurant, and I was able to get my old manager position back... and I still work at the restaurant today.<br><br>My ghost, who calls herself Molly, started being more active once I was back at the restaurant, even on weekends. I assume she misses me during the week when I’m out and about checking on the other locations, and is happy to have me home most nights and weekends.<br><br>One day, when getting dressed after a shower, Molly moved the shower curtain enough that I could see her facial expression. It was one of longing. She continued to dote on me, but that was when I realized, Molly likes me.<br><br>I’m going to keep this brief, but I’ve always had a thing for older women. When Molly was alive, I would have been fascinated with her. So one night, I sat in my office, drinking a bottle of wine, and simply looked at her... and she looked back, and I realized, this could be the most romantic experience of my life, falling for a dead woman.<br><br>It’s a little eery, knowing that Molly’s been dead for almost a century, but she’s also a 20 year old woman. Do I pursue this... and if I do, am I just a necro? A sicko?<br><br>I’m just writing this here, for my own clarity. I’m going to try and figure things out myself. But I’m glad I could share Molly with you all.<br><br>Edit: I’ve never lived with my parents, so I’m a 25 year old manager who has lived alone basically my whole life, and Molly is my first roommate, besides a gentleman I sublet to in 2018<br><br>Edit 2: I’m not in love with Molly, I’m falling in love with Molly. I don’t know how she died, but I do know that she is not an old lady, and to me, if I pursue this relationship, I will be dating a young woman, not a person who is a century old, because her body is gone.<br><br>Edit 3: If you’re asking if Molly could be my great aunt or great great aunt, yes... that is a possibility. But she is also a single, 20 year old woman who is 5 years older than my mother, which places her birth as 1908, making Molly 115 when she died, if she lived a long life.<br><br>Edit 4: Molly tries her hardest to interact with me, but since I have no experience with spirits, I don’t know what Molly is capable of. I do know that since coming back to the house, I have more evidence than I did when I first moved in in 2020. I will try to encourage Molly, to see if she can do more. I’ll also try to figure out if my age is a problem for Molly (I’ve only met her once).<br><br>Edit 5: One of the comments I just read said I’m so young and have my whole life ahead of me. I am, I do, and Molly is my life. Molly is my girlfriend, my friend, my confidant. But Molly is dead, and she will never be able to be with me. There is noşıe Molly could come back to life, so I will continue to cherish the memories I have of Molly, and I will continue to think about Molly until the day I die. That is the life I have chosen, and I don’t know if I will ever change my mind.<br><br>Edit 6: I was too young to remember Molly when she was alive, but I do remember her from my childhood. It’s funny, Molly was more active when I was a kid, but then, Molly was a kid. <br><br>Edit 7: For those of you who are concerned, Molly doesn’t haunt the restaurant, but the house I live in. And don’t worry, I’m not giving out the house’s address. I will say that it’s in New Jersey, and the house was built in the 1600s. The house is on a small farm that is 500 years old.<br><br>I mentioned that I manage a district of fast food restaurants. Without giving away too much, my district has 14 restaurants, seven in New York and seven in New Jersey. I have personally visited well over a thousand fast food restaurants, and wouldn’t you know it, the restaurant where Molly works is in my district. Molly works as a server/hostess at a pizza joint in New Jersey. It’s a locally owned restaurant, and Molly has worked there since before the restaurant opened in the 1970s. They have been very welcoming, and Molly seems very attached to the people there. Actually, Molly seems to be a very important member of the restaurant’s team, even if she isn’t alive. From what I’ve seen, Molly is like a daughter to the owners, and like a mother to the staff. <br><br>It’s a very good Italian restaurant, I highly recommend it if you’re in the area. The pizza is amazing, but I’m a sucker for their pasta dishes. I always get the pasta with a side of meatballs. I’ve asked Molly if she can come with me when I go there to eat... Molly says she can’t leave the property, but she said the staff will watch out for me, and that she will be watching out for me.<br><br>I’m not sure if Molly knows what she is capable of, or if she is afraid to try anything. Molly is a great cook, she’s taught me a lot of skills. But Molly is very shy, and it’s hard for her to open up, but she seems to be doing better. Molly is very smart, and I’m interested to see if Molly can figure out ways to communicate with people outside of our little house.<br><br>I just wanted to update you all on what’s going on. Molly is a tremendous woman, and I wish Molly was alive.
