My students are not big into affection, but this week they started giving me hugs and telling me how proud they are of me. They have finally admitted that I am a human being and not just their teacher.

I cried last year at the end of the year and I'm crying this year. I have a class that I see over multiple years. I've had this group of students since they were freshmen.

They have all finally admitted that I'm going to cry on the last day of school. I have promised them a group hug and to cry on their shoulders.

This class has been through so much and they all deserve to walk across that stage and get their diploma. I am so proud of all of them. I will probably cry again in August when I see them at their freshman orientation for college.

Love all of you - especially those that have earned the title of "my babies."
