never ever in my life have I been more glad to be childfree, than after the Arkansas school shooter

today, there was a school shooter in Arkansas who shot and killed 2 students and injured 3 more. I am just absolutely stunned that this shit keeps happening. I don't have kids myself because of concerns about the planet, but over the years, this has turned into concerns about school shooting traumatic stress. There is literally no reason why these types of guns should be legal, and there is literally no reason why this keeps happening. I am so glad I decided not to have kids, it's just so, so, so fucking dangerous to be in school anywhere in the US.
