I’ve heard people say that the USA is becoming more tyrannical now, but if we look back in history we had segregation, Jim crow laws, slavery, etc. So that’s saying a lot that people believe it’s getting worse. Does anyone know what proof they have for that? What policies being put in place are being looked at that’s causing people to believe that it’s getting worse?

*Update: Thank everyone for all the helpful comments and a special thank you for the person who pointed out that’s it’s not the laws that are the problem but the corruption. And for the person that explained things that have just been allowed to happen for example homeless people just being allowed to be homeless. I am unable to reply to comments because I don’t know my password. I hope that the situation gets better for everyone and for the people that did point out the issues I think that the laws can be changed for example the homeless population, a law could be created to include more housing for them or something, small things like that could be changed by laws.
