Agreeing with your partner is sometimes better than being right.

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that we should accept everything our partner says but I find myself getting into arguments for no reason at all other than to prove that I am right. Now I would rather watch grass grow then have an argument with someone.

I have realized these arguments don't even make me feel good its just the feeling of winning. Like what do I win? Am I right? Well what does that get me? Nothing.

Am I happy being in an argument with my partner? No.

Is my partner upset now? Yes.

What's the fucking point of even arguing then.

I am currently arguing with my partner as we speak.

We were at the store and I was in the frozen food section and I went to the right side of the frozen foods and my partner said "I think its down there" pointing left. I kept going right and just to prove them wrong I kept going right and 2 seconds later I realized the frozen food I wanted was to the left.

So I told my partner that they were right and apologized. They got mad at me for not listening to them. Then I felt like shit.

They are still silently angry with me and I feel like shit. I just want to forget about this whole thing and just be happy but my partner is still mad.

It doesn't help they are also a little stubborn and can be hard to talk to when they are angry. I just want my partner to understand I wasn't trying to be a dick I just didn't want to listen to them. That's all.

Its not even fucking worth it.

Edit: Sorry for anyone confused in the frozen food section if I wasn't to lazy to edit I would make it more clear that me and my partner are in our car currently having this argument.
