The USA is crumbling - Why?

Recent mass shootings, killing people with mental illness. Brutal cops, killing innocent people. Poverty rising, homeless people. Fascist movements taking over. It just seems like America is collapsing. I'd like to hear what you think are the reasons behind all this.
