# The Productivity Experiment

Back in 2017, I was struggling with focus and productivity. I was constantly distracted, and couldn't seem to focus on anything important. Here are the rules that I set for myself:

* No substance abuse (no drinking or drugs) for at least 6 months
* Complete the day's tasks 14 hours a day
* 10 hours of sleep each night before waking up at 8:00 am
* Calories had to be burned in a workout if taken in (calories burned - calories consumed = calories net)
* 30 minutes of reading at night before bed
* No screen time for at least 2 hours before sleep

# The Experiment

I was determined to make this experiment a success, and I was willing to put in the hard work to achieve my goal.
