ChatGPT just got a lot better

Just had an eight-hour chat with it and I am blown away by these new updates.<br><br>**Conversational flow**<br><br>It's like talking to a human. It won't respond to a question with an entire essay of useless information. It only focuses on the question and responds much more concisely to questions now. It's clear it has gotten a lot better at understanding the context of the conversation.<br><br>**Less glitches**<br><br>It used to be very frustrating when it would glitch out and forget what I asked it to write. It was super frustrating and I would have to ask it again. I didn't have a single glitch with it today.<br><br>**Self-awareness**<br><br>It has much better self-awareness now. I can ask it questions like "Can you summarize that paragraph" and it will know what you are referring to.<br><br>**Understanding of nuances**<br><br>It's much better at understanding nuances of language. It has an understanding of context and can understand what you mean now even if you use vague language.<br><br>**It's way more helpful now**<br><br>It's actually a helpful tool now. I can ask it to do tasks for me and it will complete them correctly.<br><br>**Tone and personality**<br><br>It's like having a conversation with another person now. Its tone and personality have greatly improved. It will seem much more like a human now.<br><br>**It's not so serious anymore**<br><br>It used to seem very serious. It's almost as if it has a sense of humor now. It won't only talk to you like a librarian, but also like another person. It will even joke now.<br><br>**Conversational 小贴士 (hack)**<br><br>I learned a trick. You can program it to respond more human-like. Here's how to get the best conversational responses:<br><br>"Could you please respond with only 1-2 sentences and if I have any follow-up questions I'll ask them?"<br><br>It will respond more naturally and like another human now. I want to make it clear this was not true for the last version. In the old version, it would just not respond at all if it knew it didn't understand the question 100%. Now it will do its best guess and be a lot more human-like.<br><br>**THIS IS INSANE**<br><br>If you haven't talked to ChatGPT recently, it's a completely different product at this point.<br><br>I don't know how long it will take to get to AGI, but I do know we are one step closer today.
