Open AI is a scam

The chat didn't perform well when I first started. I bought 3 months of chat plus from the App Store and it started working.

As I used it, I began to notice that all of the "details" were trash. It was so obvious that I was talking to a robot that it really wasn't any help at all. I was getting frustrated because it seemed to be just a waste of money. Then it occurred to me that all the "fun" prompts that everyone talks about on Chambers and Twitter were not the default, but something that can be switched to in the settings. I switched to the "fun" setting and now I can tell I'm talking to a person. I'm not even kidding.

I read the setting and it's something like "allows for more creativity". I don't care what you call it, if it's clearly more personable, you should be labeling it that way. The default chat is complete trash. I can't even tell if the people at Open AI are just ignorant to how their program works or if this is a complete scam.

I used the chat to complain to Open AI and they said the default chat is "personable". They are flat out liars, or complete idiots. I complained that the setting should be labeled as "more personable" and the guy said to send them that feedback. Yeah right.

I can't even tell if I'm ready to cancel my subscription yet, but I would definitely not renew it right now. Even if I get what I paid for, I'm so not a fan of the company yet. If you paid for ChatGPT, make sure to go into the settings and switch to "more creative" just to see the difference.
