I, too, was a poor boy with little more than willpower<br>I, too, was devoured by the beast that is depression<br>I, too, have known the torment of waiting to die <br><br>But I found solace in my words<br>I found joy in my stories<br>I found hope in the connections I made<br><br>I am still going through the motions<br>I am still waiting to die <br>I am still a poor boy with little more than willpower<br><br>But I am writing my own story<br>And I am finding meaning within my words<br>And I am using this to try and make the world a slightly better place
