My boyfriend (24M) gave my (24F) stepbrother (17M) a condom and now my family is furious

I just turned 24 a few days ago and my bf and I flew to the US from Australia to visit my family before heading to New York for a birthday weekend.<br><br>My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months and are sexually active. We told my family about it but they don't like it and I guess that's fine. It's not really something you want to think about, your daughter having sex.<br><br>My stepbrother (17) is a completely different story tho. He's been harassing me and my bf since the first day we arrived. He calls me a whore and a slut and stuff like that. He also calls my boyfriend a cuck and other stuff.<br><br>My family doesn't really do anything about it and they even encouraged him to keep "speaking up" or something.<br><br>The thing is, my boyfriend is pretty patient and he let it go for 2 days straight but on the 3rd day, my stepbrother said something that really pissed him off and my bf snapped at him and told him to fuck off. My family then told my boyfriend to get out of the house and never come back. I told them that I would leave with him and they told me if I did, I would have to find somewhere else to spend the night since we wouldn't be welcome anymore.<br><br>I didn't care because I didn't want my boyfriend to feel like he was the only one being punished for my stepbrother's behavior.<br><br>So we packed our bags and left to a hotel nearby.<br><br>At 2:00 am my stepbrother was knocking on our door. He told us that my GF had come over his house and they were going to have sex. He said he needed a condom and he didn't have any. He kept knocking and asking until my boyfriend gave him 4 condoms and told him to go and come back in 2 weeks.<br><br>My family called at 3 am saying that my stepbrother's GF was pregnant and it was my boyfriend's fault because he gave him the condoms. I told them that my stepbrother's GF has abortions on demand and it wasn't my boyfriend's problem.<br><br>They just told me I was a terrible person and a terrible influence on my stepbrother because "he never behaved like that" (which is a lie because he has been doing that for the last 3 years)<br><br>We had to change our phone numbers and delete our social media because my family kept blowing them up.<br><br>We're going back home tomorrow but I'm still reeling from what happened.<br><br>What would you do in my situation?<br><br>Edit: Quick update<br><br>I talked with my stepbrother's mother today and she knew about all this. I asked her why she didn't tell my parents to STFU and she told me she was on my boyfriend's side. She said her son was acting like an entitled little brat and my boyfriend had done nothing wrong. She then told me she had found tampons in my stepbrother's car so this was all a lie to frame my boyfriend.<br><br>She said my family doesn't know yet but the moment they do she will set them straight and tell them to be quiet.<br><br>She said my boyfriend was right and she supported his decision to give him the condoms.
