Real reason for women in the work force

I started reading this article, I thought that it was going to be about why women should or shouldn't be in the work force. The first few sentences went as expected then it took a weird left turn...<br><br>"The involvement of women in the workforce has contributed to the economy in many ways including, making up a significant portion of the labor force, contributing to technological innovations, and advancing in fields such as medicine and other male dominated realms."<br><br>"Our primary reason for women entering the workforce was to increase production and raise the income of families. However, many family households today consist of a single mother, a single father, or a couple with children working to make ends meet. There is hardly any family that consists of a stay at home mom/ wife and a working dad/ husband, because that is just not enough income for the family, especially in the United States."<br><br>"The necessity of women entering the workforce has led to an increase in the threshold of income to raise a family; more than half of family households consist of a mother and a father working. Although it is challenging, the income of two working parents is necessary and more accepted today than it has ever been in the past."<br><br>The article basically explains that women in the work force is 100% about making money and that it is now necessary to have 2 incomes.<br><br>Basically proving once and for all we were lied to. It is not about independence, it is not about equality, it is not about women power, it is about making money. And the money women make is not hers, it is the family's.<br><br>So those high earning independent women aren't really independent at all. They are just high earning...slaves.
