WaitWait... what's the issue with the minimalist community?

I’ve been practicing minimalism and on the minimalist sub for a week now and it’s nice but I’m concerned?<br><br>Why are there so many posts asking what “you would you do if you had $1000000”? The big spenders are the only ones who comment on these posts and they spend all the money on expensive and material things. Are they not practicing minimalism? Is someone just trolling? <br><br>What’s up with that?
