I used to work at the dollar store, I couldn’t stop shoplifting there at our dollar store until they fired me.

I would steal everything. I stole so much stuff, that store would have gone out of business if they kept paying me… <br><br><br>Let me tell you why….. <br><br>- I would go in early in the morning, I had keys and had a main door fob. I would open the back room, I would bring in a large 50 pound duffel bag. <br><br>- I would work my 8-9 hour shift, I would take breaks, and it would take me around 4-5 hours to fill that entire bag full. <br><br><br>- I would fill that bag full of everything, including halloween costumes, nba jerseys, yard stuff, garden stuff, anything. <br><br><br>- At the end of the day, at closing time 9 o’clock, my shift is over, my managers shift is over, I walk out that main door, set the alarm, walk to my car and leave, with a 50 pound bag of dollar store stuff…. <br><br><br>- I did that for 3 months, I did that almost everyday. <br><br><br>- One day, one of my coworkers, said to me….. “hey, I see you walking out with that huge bag almost every day, why?” <br><br>- I was like…. “oh, I’m just taking out the trash” <br><br><br>- She was like….. “oh, ok” <br><br><br>- She went and told my manager… <br><br><br>- My manager came up to me one day, after my shift was over, she had just opened the store, she was like…. “so you steal everyday huh?” <br><br><br>- I was like….. “what? no, never” <br><br><br>- She was like….. “yea, you do, I’ve been watching you the past 3 days, and you walk out with a huge bag every day.” <br><br><br>- She called her district manager, he came and fired me, and said the cops are on there way…. <br><br><br>- He asked me to empty my car, my car was full of dollar store stuff, my trunk was full, there was so much stuff, the cops ended up taking me to jail. <br><br><br>- I spent 24 hours in jail, they dropped all my charges, but I did have to pay a 300 dollar fine…. <br><br><br>- I hadn’t been to that dollar store in years, I went in there last week, and the lady at the register was like…. “hey, don’t I know you?” <br><br><br>- I was like…. “yea, I work here sometimes, I saw you around” <br><br><br>- She was like….. “no, you used to work here, didn’t you?” <br><br><br>- I was like….. “yea, I used to work here” <br><br><br>- She was like….. “yea, you’re the guy who got fired for stealing so much” <br><br><br>- I was like….. “yea” <br><br><br>- She was like….. “I saw you steal so much, I even told the manager, I’m surprised you got caught” <br><br><br>- I was like….. “yea, I’m glad I got caught, it saved me thousands of dollars in the long run” <br><br><br>- She was like….. “yea, I guess you’re right, our dollar store is expensive” <br><br><br>- I was like….. “yea, it sure is” <br><br>- She was like….. “well, you better not steal anything, because I’m watching you” <br><br><br>- I was like….. “don’t worry, I won’t” <br><br><br>- It’s funny, I used to steal so much from them, but they still let me shop there….. <br><br><br>- And the funniest part, is that my ex coworkers son, he shops at our dollar store, and he steals so much, and he brags about it….. <br><br><br>- He steals the exact same way that I used to steal….. He walks out with that same huge bag….. <br><br><br>- And it’s so weird, because the employees, they know he’s stealing, but they don’t care, they just watch him fill up his huge bag, and they let him walk out…. <br><br><br>- They don’t care, they don’t stop him….. <br><br><br>- But what’s even funnier, is when he gets caught, they’re going to prosecute him, and he’s going to jail…. <br><br><br>- But he still won’t stop stealing, he’ll keep stealing….. <br><br><br>- Stealing is an addiction, it’s hard to stop…..
