We don’t get to choose COVID-19’s timeline

There are still so many stories of people close to me whose lives have been upended or cut short by this virus. A fellow student whose boyfriend got COVID-19 and couldn’t be saved. A colleague whose cousin was 32. <br><br>But the news is all about the protesters who want to reopen. <br><br>Sure, it sucks not having freedom. But we have no control over COVID-19’s timeline. We’re going to be stuck at home and businesses shut down for as long as the virus decides, whether that’s now or six months from now.
