What are some things we, as women, say to men, but don't mean?

ME: How was your day? <br>MENTAL NOTES: I don't care, I had a bad day and need to vent and I need you to listen so I can feel like you care.<br><br><br>YOU: Do I look pretty today? <br>MENTAL NOTES: If you say yes, does that mean I LOOKED BAD YESTERDAY?????? I need to know you find me attractive so I can feel wanted and loved and needed.<br><br><br>YOU: Do you like my new haircut/color? <br>MENTAL NOTES: If you say yes, does that mean that you liked my hair before? Why didn't you say anything then? I didn't change it for your sake, I changed it to feel better about myself, PRAISE ME AND TELL ME HOW WONDERFUL I LOOK SO I CAN FEEL GOOD.<br><br><br>YOU: Want to go fishing with me? <br>MENTAL NOTES: I don't like fishing, and I know you don't want me there but I want to spend time with you, so I'll go just so you don't get mad at me.<br><br><br>YOU: Why are you still up? <br>MENTAL NOTES: I waited up for you because I'm scared to death in the dark and when you're home I feel safe. But don't tell anybody else that. I also waited up for you so when you come to bed I can smell your breath and clothes to see if you were out cheating on me.<br><br><br>YOU: I'm too full for dessert. <br>MENTAL NOTES: I'm not too full but I don't want dessert because I know if I eat it right now it will make my stomach look fat and you'll think I'm a pig.<br><br>What else do we do this with?
