$1000 wedding vs $20,000+ wedding?

Are people who spend $20,000+ on their wedding just delusional? I know it’s supposed to be the “best day of your life” or whatever but you’re also planning on having kids and a house right? Could you not put some of that money away…?<br><br>Why bother with a $20,000+ wedding unless you make that in a month or something?
